Miljan is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote medicine with Advanced Special Training in Emergency Medicine. He spent a large portion of his career working in various Emergency departments and Intensive Care Rooms, both in metropolitan and rural settings.
A keen traveler and explorer, Miljan has put his rural and remote medicine credentials to the test. He has travelled to various remote parts of Australia to work in small hospitals, mining fields, small Pacific islands and other rarely visited destinations.
He continues to work in the field of Emergency Medicine, while also attending to inmates in remote Australian correctional facilities and travels the world conducting international medical escorts.
Miljan enjoys General Practice because it gives him an opportunity to maintain and provide continuity of care to his patients.
He is particularly interested in the management of complex medical conditions, chronic illnesses, sports medicine and work-related injuries.
Miljan loves working with children and participates in the Shared Antenatal Care Program at the Royal Hospital for Women. Miljan is a certified HIV medication prescriber and experienced in both men’s and women’s sexual health care.
