“The act of painting for me is often no different as writing a song or singing. it's a wonderful thing when it flows and almost performs or paints itself”.
This body of work “Marine Dream” explores the ocean as a color wash dreaming where the light sometimes plays in unnatural ways. These acrylic paintings on canvas use minimalist or monochrome color combinations to evoke an ethereal mood, subtle notions of the afterlife and other worldliness.
Show curated by Lisa Tolcher.
